Always dedicated to experimental and innovative music, The Music Gallery moves “Forward” for its fourteenth X Avant festival. Each headliner presents new work – including a world premiere from Lido Pimienta.

Adam Sherkin presents a re-creation of the 1957 performance of Piano Fantasy, including world premiers of his own music, commissioned especially for the occasion: a prelude, “The Music Within” and a postlude, “The Music Beyond.”
