SUMMARY:The TEACH Project Fundraising Soirée
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of art\, music\, and dance to raise funds for a great cause. \nAll proceeds of the event\, including any ticket\, art\, and bar sales will be donated to Arfak. \nWe are a group of young professionals\, social justice activists\, and artists who have come together to found The TEACH Project: an initiative with the goal of raising awareness about and removing the barriers to access to education for children in Iran. \nFor this event\, we’ll be raising funds for Arfak NGO in Tehran\, Iran. Arfak is a not-for-profit organization in Tehran\, which provides the necessary educational\, social and health services to enable vulnerable children in need to remain in school and receive education as an investment towards their future. To date\, Arfak has supported approximately 2000 children throughout Iran. \nWorks created by current Arfak students will be showcased and the guests will have an opportunity to purchase these works to further support the cause. The night will host musical and dance performances by local Toronto-based artists. \n*All ticket sales are final. No refunds. \n*A free glass of wine and light refreshments will be included with your ticket. Additional beverages will be available for purchase

IMMERSED3.0 is an immersive art experience with contemporary works written for the Bedford Trio. \nIMMERSED 3.0 is the third edition of Bedford Trio’s IMMERSED series\, featuring newly commissioned works from composers from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music Composition program\, as well as students from Earl Haig Secondary School’s grade 11 composition class.
