Playlist Storytellers is a live storytelling show based in Toronto. Four curated storytellers share real stories from their life that involve a song, and then the song is played for the audience after so they can relive the story.
Please join in on August 17th for an intimate concert featuring recent works by Japanese and Japanese-Canadian composers. There will be the Canadian premiere of Sato Matsui’s “Trois Apparitions de la Nuit” and the world premiere of Paul Kawabe’s “Signals”. The programming explores the various connections to Japanese culture that the composers share. These are rarely performed works that will be brought to life for an evening by a small group of incredible musicians, we hope to see you there!
