This is the first night of What Is: heart(break) presented by The Music Gallery.  1:11 moonwatching dives deep into luminescent moonlit midnight pools exploring the full scope of the human voice accompanied by electronics, foley, and found sounds diffusing the night’s air in 6.2 surround sound.

Ethereal, avant-garde sonic textures transport us into the realm of the moon, ruler of dreams and all wandering lovers. In the thick of pale light and dark shadows, 1:11 moonwatching’s experimental improvisation and classical vocalism melded with visuals by Gary Kirkham remind us of moons replete with wishes and yet-to-be’s and of fateful encounters under night’s embrace.
