The Music Gallery Presents: Beverley Johnston – Finding HER Voice

‘Finding HER Voice’ A celebration on International Women’s Day with Canadian percussionist Beverley Johnston featuring works by Alice Ping Yee Ho, Holly Winter, Christos Hatzis, Norbert Palej and Frederic Rzewski. All the works are based on iconic or historic female figures including Baba Yaga, Mother Earth, Eris, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Yoko Ono. The fusion of live percussion and audio playback will be complemented with slide projections and video. A percussive feast for the eyes and ears!

All ticket sales for this performance will be donated to Nellie’s Shelter.
