The SpokenSoulTO Collective is an ongoing artistic collaboration between Dwayne Morgan, Paulina O’Kieffe-Anthony and Randell Adjei, three of Toronto’s highly recognized singers, musicians, spoken word artists, poets, authors and event producers.

Spoken Soul After Dark: Spoken Soul After Dark is a showcase featuring erotic poetry, soul and RnB music. Fllowin the showcase the event will move into the official opening party of the festival featuring a live DJ to dance the night away.

Black Womyn of the Word: Black Womyn of the Word is an open mic and SLAM showcasing all Black Womyn poets performing poetry while competing for a cash prize.

Griots and Songbirds Showcase: Griots and Songbirds features collaborative performances between some of the top poets and singers in the City and beyond. Feature Performance by Tika Simone.

Toronto International Poetry Slam: Toronto International Poetry SLAM returns to Toronto. Started in 2003, this competitoin puts spoken word artists from across North America and europe against one another for $1,000 US in cash.
