Things to consider before you make an inquiry to rent 918 Bathurst
1. We require a Security & Damage Deposit on all rentals
Just like renting an apartment, your money down secures you the space, and so long as you don’t damage anything or cause too much of a cleaning hassle, you get it all back promptly after your event.
2. We require your activity/event/organization to be appropriately insured
918 Bathurst is insured, of course, but our policy won’t cover you or your event if someone gets hurt doing your activity. Insurance is not always required, but in situations involving children, alcohol or lots of attendees, it’s a safe bet. Contact us to discuss.
3. We require you to obtain a Special Occasion Permit
If you want to serve or sell alcohol of any kind, you need to go to the LCBO and obtain an Special Occasion Permit (SOP). If you are giving alcohol for free (say, at a wedding), then the fee to the LCBO is $35. If you are selling it (say, at a concert), then the fee is $75.
4. 918 Bathurst is not wheelchair accessible
Unfortunately, our building is very old and was designed at a time when it was aesthetically pleasing to have many short flights of stairs. Please take this into consideration before filling out your Rental Inquiry.
Please fill out the form to the right to let us know of dates, expected numbers, hospitality requirements and other needs. We will quickly respond to your request and, if we can accommodate your event, we will prepare a proposal which would include a detailed price quotation.
Alternatively please call 416-538-0868 to discuss availability and requirements.
