CMAC Enzan Dojo
For over sixty years our dedicated teachers and volunteers have been teaching children of Czech heritage in supplementary language programmes. MMI funds the school from its own donations and budget with no government support.
Currently the classes offered are engaging, lively and teach children the basics of communication in Czech, be it reading, writing, listening and speaking. Additionally, children learn about Czech culture, tradition and heritage; and have fun putting on performances and plays.
The Institute has been fortunate in obtaining the generous patronage of the Czech Foreign Ministry which supplies our school with the latest in children’s story books and educational material.
Classes are offered to children 5 to 12 years of age and run every Saturday (except for long weekends). The winter semester stars in mid-September and runs for 12 Saturdays. The spring semester starts in mid-January and runs for 20 Saturdays.
Classes start at 10 am and end at 12 pm. A nominal fee of $5 per child per class is charged with discounts for other children from the same family.

Mission Statement
The Morris Winchevsky School is committed to perpetuating an understanding of secular Jewish history, traditions and culture and their relevance in the modern world.
Our rich curriculum instills students with an appreciation of Yiddishkayt (Yiddish language and culture), the progressive values of social justice, and an ever-deepening sense of their identity and roots, which they can carry with them throughout their lives.
Spirit of Math operates Monday evenings at the 918 from September 2010 to June 2011. Contact Heidi Winick / 647-348-5800 for more information
Spirit of Math Schools is an “after-school school” program, unique to the education system. SMS offers so much more than tutoring, supplemental work for the students, or even what standard enrichment classes can offer. Through the interaction with others in the classroom, there is greater opportunity for learning.
Students attend a 1½ hour class each week. The program in each grade progresses through the year, from September until June.
The Spirit of Math program was developed in the classroom by Charles Ledger over a 20-year period. The success of the program as evaluated through national competitions has been unrivalled by any other mathematics program for grades 7-9. Spirit of Math Schools Inc. has been incorporated since 1995 and has been offering after-school courses to students since 1993.
The workshop is 90 minutes long. The Chocolatier will arrive in his black chef suit and begin to entertain the group using chocolate and its secrets to obtain a sensational chocolate experience.
Sincerely,
David Levy
